Title: I Want My Sharp Rom Back!
Post by: usagi on February 08, 2005, 03:37:09 pm
I have flashed, my z6000L  with oz roms and did not make a baclup.

However both flavors of OZ roms (gpe and opie) suck as they fail to do the simplest things well, such as browse the web, play movies and MP3s etc.

How can I get an original  Sharp ROM to flash my 6000 back?

I will very much appreciate any help.

Flavio

I feel obliged to point out that while i too have switched back to sharp on my 6k, there are some things oz does really well. Minimo on gpe is, as far as I can tell an excellent browser, and reputedly firefox (need to be hombrewed last I checked) The newest mplayer (check the pxa optimized mplayer thread) should work as well on oz as it does on sharp. There is some real hope for OZ, even if it isn't really adjusted to the 6k yet. Keep an eye on it, rather than running off to be stuck on sharp permanently.
