Title: Custom "expansion Sled" Possible?
Post by: jbruno on February 21, 2005, 05:06:00 pm
Does anyone have pinouts for the SL6000L "expansion connector" under the cover in the back, where the "sled" attaches"

Can this connector be used to directly attach an IDE hard drive?
Would the throughput beat the USB 1.1 host port?

Yes it would be much faster to IO it off the expansion bus then off USB host port (more paths)

pinouts might be something on sharps developer website

What developer site?
Do you mean the discontinued developer site?

Any other pointers to schematics or pinouts for the SL-6000L??
