Title: How Do I Play Flash On A Webpage?
Post by: g333 on February 25, 2005, 09:10:16 pm
I think there is a program called Konqueror I would like to get this. Where are the files on the main website?? Also how do I get flash to work on my Zaurus? I have a cool drawing program and want to use it. Thank you.

check elsi?. konqueror embedded can be had as partof OZ/opie. You might be best off trying firefox w/ pocket workstation. or firefox w/ OZ/gpe. I don't have a lot of hope for flash on a handheld, but I have been known to be wildly wrong before...

If you search the forums for flash, I think you'll find there is a standalone player for *old* flash files. I think it only supports something like v4.

Konqueror doesn't have any native ability to play flash files. Even on the desktop it uses the Netscape/Mozilaa plugin.

I think it was v3 actually.

My web site is down atm, but I can provide the X11 binary if anyone's interested, or you can just grab the source and compile your own (v. easy). It's called swfplayer. There was also a Qtopia frontend floating around (based on the same backend so probably just doing v3 too).

I tried surfing the web but none of the flash animations worked. They must all be around 7 by now.    If anyone can tweak a web program for flash 7...  etc  it would be great.
