Title: Screen Blanker

What does the Screen Blanker when used with the XMMS control option?  It just seemed to turn off my Zaurus when trying to use it.

It turns off your screen, but let the rest of the Zaurus stay on. So that it can still play music. You have a lower battery drain when the screen is off.

Does that mean I should start XMMS after blanking the screen?

No, XMMS must be started before you blank the screen.

Also, the XMMS controler is on by defualt when closed, I thought for the longest time that the applet was just broken.

It's really very good for making your Z a 400mhz mp3 player. ;P
