Title: Konqueror Problems
Post by: roixnus on March 03, 2005, 03:21:16 pm
I've put off posting my problems and have read all the posts I can related to issues installing Konquer on 3.5.2 but haven't had any luck.  I've installed libcre0_4.4-r1_arm.ipk and service-release-1-oz-opie_3.5.2 prior to installing Konqueror but it still won't work.  I get an icon, but when I click it, it shows up in the taskbar for about a sec. then disappears.  I know there is probably already an answer somewhere on this forum, but please be gentle with me, I'm still a wannabe on the way to becoming a newbie!

Thanks for your help

Roy

Try running it from the console and see what error you get.  Just type in konqueror as the program name.

You will have to install libstdc++6 from the devel feed. When you installed the service-release it should have added that feed to ipkg for you to use. So if you install it now Konqueror (and many other apps) should be fine.
