Hi,

What a gorgeous little unit this is. I'm letting it get its full first charge right now after dabbling a bit.

Within the 1st hour had updated to 1.11 JP ROM and had Wireless LAN synchronisation going with my VMWare session running XP and Office 2003... sweet. (clean new VMWare image).

I have stacked up a list of apps to install and have the SL-C3000 libSDL from atty.jp all ready to go but I was wondering if anyone has got a working port of ScummVM working with this version of libSDL.. haven't tried it yet and I know there's some model specific code in the zports stuff.

So anyone got it nailed or do I have to rebuild zports ScummVM with the SL-C3000 model string?

- Andy... oh by the way did I say THANKS Marc (TriSoft)

Actually reverted to zports libSDL because the atty.jp version didn't clear the screen. ScummVM seems to work well though.

..now if I could only get the bvdd driver to work properly with Kino2. Got mplayer-bvdd (without immx) and bvdd installed and I get NO video....

You don't need the special kernel for this do you ?

I don't have the answers to any of your questions, but congrats on your new 3000.

well the v17f, v17g and v17h kernels and modules provided by tetsu... don't help. I had been able to play a few videos with beta version of bvdd and mplayer (manual install), but with the latest ipks i'm not able to see a frame. I'm quite disappointed on this currently. So i'm trying to encode avi files so that default movie player can play them good (and this is a hard job too).

I just installed the zports version of both libSDL and Scummvm.  The games appear to run fine, but not fullscreen - they appear to run in the upper left 1/4 of the screen.  When I quit out of scummvm, there is a message indicating that it detected my C3000 as a 5000.  Did you run into this?  And if so, did you find a fix for it?

Thanks.

mplayer-bvdd  and kino2 allows me to watch almost any movie files, .mov, .mpg, .asf, .avi...
the only problem is that its in a tiny window only, not full screen.

I just got my Zaurus just over a week ago and am loving it!
