Title: Telnet After Flash Menu Reset?

I've used the flash utility to factory reset my C3000 drive. I want to become familiar with the process as I'm sure I'll have to do it many times while I'm hacking it up.

Prior to the reset I was able to telnet into the Zaurus after choosing the USB Advanced option in the PC-Link application.

I did the same after the reset (allbeit this time it was Kanji but easy enough to figure out), but now I can not connect into the unit.

It'll ping. It'll answer TCP 21, but not 23.

What am I missing here?

I got it. I didn't realize that the stock install from Japan does not have telnet on in inetd.conf, as opposed to the dynamism-modified version which does.
