Title: Cacko 1.22 & Vnc Server
Post by: w14 on March 16, 2005, 06:01:15 pm
Anton, or anyone that might know ...

I installed vnc server from the feed on my new 1.22 lite installation on my 760.

Anyway, the server seems to run fine, but for some reason, despite tssimd running, the mouse and keyboard don't work in the viewer.

Also, the usual installation procedure is install the ipk, reboot, touch the corners of the screen to write /etc/tssim_cal.conf. Except there's no tssim_cal.conf written.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

By the way Anton, thanks, this is a superb ROM.

Cheers,

Mike.

From Cacko-FAQ:

Q: I installed VNC server from Cacko feed but when connecting to Zaurus using VNC client keyboard and mouse don't work.
A: Set "Execute with root privilege (not secure)" flasg on VNC server icon

Can you establish that connection wirelessly? Is your Z connected by cable to your PC?

I'm using VNC Wirelessly to remoet my Linux Box from the Z using Cacko 1.22a lite with no problems at all.
