Title: Comparing 6000 Roms
Post by: Gondola on March 22, 2005, 01:11:12 pm
I'm curious as to what custom-bake ROMs and development platforms out there are working with USB and wifi.  Also, are there any with a 2.6 Linux kernel?

Someone posted a kernel comparison question in the other forum, but I wanted to approach the same question from a 6000-centric point of view.

I want to use GPS via USB, the built-in wifi, SD cards, and possibly CF down the road.

If someone could elaborate on their experiences with alternate ROMs with regards to USB and wifi I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

you are probably stuck with sharprom, at least til OZ 3.5.3.

OZ 3.5.2 runs, but is a first release on the 6k.  pdaXrom has no current release, though they say one is in the works, and cacko has no current release.
