Title: Pdf2ps
Post by: rickh on March 22, 2005, 02:46:17 pm
So I got a2ps, lpr, et al working wonderfully on my Zaurus.  Text prints fine on a networked HP printer.  But i have a mess of PDF files (gotta love that 4 gig drive on the C3000) that I'd love to be able to print from the Zaurus, should the need come up.  I've looked around for an ipk of pdf2ps - unsuccessfully.

Anybody had any success, or even tried it?

Thanks.

well I seem to  have it installed, as part of a large LaTeX package (60MB on a CF card). Not used it though (but everthing else I have tried works fine).

I dont have my Zaurus setup to print but from linux I can print a PDF with lpr and never have to convert it to postscript first.

I guess I'm misunderstanding...
Do you issue your lpr from the zaurus?  Of course I have all the filters to do this within Linux.    But this won't work on the Zaurus.  There needs to be a filter of some sort to handle the pdf conversion.
