Hello everyone!
I got The Kompany's version of Calendar, Address and Mail (v.2.0) and it really has a lot of improvements over the standard sharp pim apps. Although that, once installed, it does not see previous data stored in the SHarp apps, nor does it syncronize correctly. When syncronizing, it appear as it everything goes well and you can see the window when it is comparing, but after the sync completion, you open the application and it is empy.
I can only thing that intellisync is syncing with the original data, but that the data files for my TKC apps are stored somewhere else.
Also, I saw a note that TKC Calendar, Address and Mail do have sync compatibility problems with SHarp ROM 3.10 , but it only mention SL-5600 and C-7X as the devices where this problem occurs.
Does someone have any more information about this?
Regards,

I am willing to bet you are running a ROM where the Sharp PIM is stored in the old XML database.
5500 Roms 3.10 and 3.13 and 5600 ROMs all use the DTM database.
I am not sure, but I think some other sharp based roms have the same issue.

I was using TKC ROM alpha 3 with home on SD. I though that the TKC was based on ROM 3.1? Am I wrong?

It's the other way round, the 5500 3.1 ROM uses the DTM based PIM and sync framework, while the tkc apps are based on the old XML PIM and sync framework.
So you cannot sync tkc apps while using the latest ROMs/Zaurus models.

Thanks tumnus, I'll remember that so I don't give backward info again
I know the newer roms use the different DB type and the sync software had to be changed to accomodate. You may have luck using an older intellisync(if that's what you use) not sure about QTopia desktop.

You are wrong . Sharp changed their pims to the DTM format leaving tkc out in the cold with the older xml format. TKC was going to go to an SQLlite backend with their own sync, but I do not believe that came to light. The TKCROM was a person making a custom rom (I'm not going to go into the controversy), but recieved graphics support from tkc. It was never purported to be able to sync the tkcpims, but you will get more support from tkc than if you had the cacko rom.

A maybe "naive" question here..... If what I have to use is xml format, my options are the old 2.x Sharp Rom or Openzaurus, such as Hentges, right?
I have an Aircable BT card, Is there any compat issues on this two?
