hello,
is there a documentation / howto for the updater.sh available?
mean, eg. \"howto assemble my updater.sh\"...
any suggestions are welcome...
cheers,
jonnie

if in anybodys interrest, i found something:
\"updater.sh seems to be a shell script encoded to a odd format...\"
if you want to get your hands dirty, heres an en/decoder:

Link is broken ... where else can one get that ?
I'd still like to know how is the unpadet.sh script searched for during the install process ?
It looks like the autoboot.sh is loaded by the system initialization script from the emergency system boot (pdaxrom 1.1 beta4).
So that's how that's loaded.
I wonder if when you go into the japanese flash menu (or D+C) updater.sh is looked for in some similar fashon ?
When you install with the japanese flash menu is kernel gotten from onboard flas or CF/SD ?
Regards
David

I'm unable to mount it ither on pc or on my zaurus.
