Hello,
Well first with the weird then a couple of other comments.
When I flash and install OZ 3.5.3 some how remembers my name and time zone which is cool and all but I want to make sure it is a clean install am I doing something wrong?
Another note I am trying to donate to a couple of developers but when I go to use paypal for Mickey it is in German I don't know how to switch it to English so I can make a payment is there any way to create English links for all the developers so us less educated single language people can make donations. (because I think no matter how much you paid for the device you have to be honest if it was not for the dedication and brilliance of the OZ developers your zaurus would not be half as cool or useful.)
Also totally unrelated I have been searching several days on how to format my SD card in ext2 I have read the docs and searched the forums but the answers I have found do not seem to match with what I have. I have a c750 could some one please give me a hand or a link I would greatly appreciate it.
Last comment but not least this OZ version is by far the coolest and best yet with the web browser and wellenreiter installed defacto and the look and feel as great as ever I just want to say keep up the great work guys we all are grateful for it.

/home is not deleted by the flashing. You should be able to rm -Rf /home/root/* and Opie will re-create it for you.

I'll let them know.

Hello,
Thanks for the info if you mean this how to https://www.oesf.org/index.php?title=Step-b...ing_for_newbies (https://www.oesf.org/index.php?title=Step-by-step_CF/SD_fdisk/formatting_for_newbies)
I did read it but fdisk was giving me can't open errors I was trying to find the step by step on doing the mke.ext2 because I really just need to format. I got the e2fsprogs and e2fsprogs-mke2fs but am unsure still on how to format that is why I just asked for a link I do not mind researching the issue or even rtfm I am just stuck on this one thing.
once again thank you for the help I do appreaciate it.

hello
just to help add to the group for some reason I could not unmount my 1 gig sd card so I just ejected it.
Then when trying fdisk /dev/mmcda
I get the error can't open
so after fiddling around and seeing that the mount command was there even though unmount wasn't I notice that there is a mmcblk0p1 the size of a gig so I do fdisk /dev/mmcblk0p1 and lo and behold it works so I now have a fdisked and formatted sd card. I hope this helps someone else

I take it you're running the 2.6 kernel in that case - mention it next time

Oops, sorry I read the 3.5.3 bit, but missed the fact that it was on a C750.
Sorry.
