I just received my shipment from brando, in which I got a Pentopia stylus for my 860.
the stylus is a wonderful improvement over the piece of * that came with the 860. the telescopic feature is nice - it's not sprung like the Palm T3's, but it auto-extends as you pull the stylus out of the Z...
* the tip is compliant and feels just right
* weight and balance is excellent
* length when extended is a vast improvement for middle to large-sized hands
I'm not sure how long the ball pen would last, so I'll keep it's use to a minimum as I don't think there's a big ink reservoir for it.

If you pull the "pen" out, you'll see that it is a seperat piece. It *should* be replaceable.

I used a PDAir's 3-in-1 before but found no way to apply refills... and worse than that one day it fell off my desk and the tip part broke from the neck! What a waste of money...
And then I switched to this Pentopia pen and am quite happy with that.
You can twist the front part of the pen and clamp out the cartridge carefully. The refills are just of a pilot standard type. Easy to get in stationary or office supplies stores.
