Title: Bluetooth On 3.5.3
Post by: lardman on April 15, 2005, 05:26:34 pm
Well Hrw should soon have a BT card, so I may as well start bringing up a few questions/problems ;-)

1) No /dev/rfcomm* devices on my C7x0 (GPE - 2.4.18) - should these have been produced by something?

They can be made using:
mknod /dev/rfcomm0 216 0
mknod /dev/rfcomm1 216 1
and so on.

2) Where does one find the bnep.o module? - does one need it (I presume so - I've seen lots of references too it).

3) No /etc/bluetooth/givepin script - is this needed?

I created the devices - rfcomm0 through to rfcomm4, but I'm not all together sure if they made any difference.

I'm using the GPE image, and although I was able to get my phone & Z to pair once, I've not managed it since. I'll have another go with my Computer & a usb bt dongle, and see if I can get a pan up and running.
