Title: editing .conf files in qt
Post by: Anonymous on January 19, 2004, 03:16:09 pm
Is there another way to edit .conf files besides using vi in QT?  Can somebody also recommend a good file browser?
Thanks

try Midnight Commander, it\'s my fav. Has both file browser and editor in one package. Not sure which Z you have, but once installed, run it from the konsole \"mc -a\" the -a switch keeps it from drawing boxes to make the border which uses up too much screen. Also escape key + numbers gets you to options at the bottom of the screen. escape + 9 will open the menus across the top.
Cheers,
Jerry
