I redid my oe. It works. It went and grabbed the latest stuff... which doesn not compile packages due to some gcc 3.4 problem already mentioned in the mailing list. I can't fix this, and don't need to. I just want to build a a package (firefox) for 3.5.3.
To keep to a version the wiki says do this:
bk clone -r<DISTRO tag> bk://openembedded.bkbits.net/openembedded.
Apparently DISTRO tag is not any combination I could come up with for "openzaurus" and "3.5.3" or "openzaurus-3.5.3"
#$%^#$!!!--so to speak.
what does "DISTRO tag" signify, and what do I put there so that I can build for oz3.5.3?

I'm told it should be "openzaurus-3.5.3" (probably without the speech marks though).

Hmmmm. I'm not home to try it just now, But I think I did try and it asked for a tag? or some additional info
I don't suppose putting openzaurus-3.5.3 in DISTRO in my local.conf would help?
I'll poke at it some more this evening.
