Hey all,
I have a question, on my Zaurus 1000 I can only instal .ipk file types but there are many like .tar and .smc, and different types of applications so how can I also install those?

I'm not familiar with .smc file type. The .tar files are an archive of more than one file and typically indicate your getting the source and it needs to be compiled. For now I'd suggest you go to one of the feeds (list at [a href=\"http://zaurus.spy.org/]zaurus.spy.org[/url]). In the Add/Remove programs applet in the Setting tab you'll notice that the middle button is for downloading from the network. Configure your zaurus to pull files from one of those. If you don't have wifi yet, then just open the feed in your browser (the zug feed is here (http://www.zaurususergroup.com/feed/)) and pull them down one by one.
