Title: Elsi Revamp In Progress
Post by: dz on April 23, 2005, 12:15:49 pm
I've set up several tasks that I'd like to get done with the ELSI on Sourceforge.  I have started working on giving the elsi a much needed overhaul.  If you want to see a list of all the tasks that need to get done, feel free to visit here:

http://sourceforge.net/pm/task.php?group_i...browse&set=open (http://sourceforge.net/pm/task.php?group_id=130640&group_project_id=42583&func=browse&set=open)

We are looking for some volunteers to help me program.  If anyone's interested, pm me here on the forums with some info about your programming experience.

People that I'm looking for are:

PHP Programmers
Javascript Programmers that have a knowledge of xmlhttpRequest.  It's a simple task and if all else fails, I can easily do this.
CSS Designers.  I'd like the whole site switched to a CSS layout.

Thanks.  I know it's been a long time coming, but I'm trying to get everything rolling again.

Also, could you add the features we (Me and dhns) outlined in this topic:

https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=10130 (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=10130)

I don't know how important the search engine thingie is, but it WOULD help. Also, I did not understand a THING dhns said, but his requests were netherless important-sounding.

Thank you for this "tool" you've made.Hot stuff!!

Yes sir I will.  Once I get back home tonight (I'm visiting the parents for the weekend), I'll add them to the to-do list.

Items added to the list.  I'm going to work on the 'Summary Box', which is probably the #1 most requested item.  After that, I'll go down the list.

By the way, if any other coders out there have some spare time, I'd appreciate some help   This list can get done much quicker when I'm not the only one working on it.
