Hello
Just a quick word in this forum to let you know I released the first "end user ready" guylhem-rom.
http://externe.net/zaurus/guylhem-rom (http://externe.net/zaurus/guylhem-rom)
To install it, simply do a nand restore.
It comes with qtopia 1.5, etc following the roadmap. You get 25 Mb free, but it's loaded with applications - everything I use is there. Please test it if you can and report your suggestions / potential bug report (it should be bug free besides 2 minor bugs) on the ROM forum.
I'd be very happy to enhance the next release following your suggestion.
I'd be also interested in *test* .ipk, known to work with my rom, to host on the feed.
If you like it too much, donations are welcome (I'd like to work on the flash upgrade or finish the cellphone app)
Enjoy!
Guylhem

Does it come with bluetooth and WPA support?
-
bluetooth yes because I use it daily on my 6000W. WPA, I don't know - so I think I don't need it.
Give me a link to a WPA capable application for the zaurus and I'll see what I can do.

When you say, "Simply do a nand restore," does that mean I can use the "Backup/Restore" utility in the Qtopia GUI? Or do I have to go through the convoluted button-pressing ritual that frightens me half to death every time I try it?
-
I do the button pushing thing on all my roms. I have one for sharprom, pdax, and guylhem. It's the easiest and fastest way to go back anf forth.

I mean the ability to connect to a [a href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wi-Fi_Protected_Access]WPA-PSK encrypted wireless lan. WEP is just too insecure.

Here's a link for ya, Guyhelm: [a href=\"https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=679]wpa_stuff.tar.gz
It was in the C1000/3000 forums, in this thread (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=13402&pid=85759&st=0entry85759).
I attempted to run it on the 6k but had a missing library issue.
