Hi all.
A while back I started a thread in the OZ area of the forum.
https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=11824&hl= (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=11824&hl=)
As part of the above thread I have a couple of questions about pdaXrom:
1. Is pdaXrom running X, a cut down X, or something else?
2. How does pdaXrom manage to run apps for the Sharp ROM?
3. Can it also run opie apps?
Thankyou in advance
Simon

It runs X

you cannot run neither Sharp rom nor opie apps under pdaxrom.

Are you sure? Zenyatta seems to think otherwise (I don't have a clamshell so I don't know):
Basically, if you have a clamshell Zaurus, you can run Qt/E and X applications side-by-side if you run pdaXrom which is a ROM that includes an X server.

Are you sure?
yes.
Other solution:
sharp rom + x/qt
duaboot (never tried)
Oz with gpe AND opie (don't know how it works)
