Hello,
I recently purchased a sl-5500. The unit is missing the 'i' and the 'd' keys from the keyboard. I wanted to know if it was possible to replace the keys and how I would go about getting new keys?
Any suggestions would be helpful. I am really excited to own a Zaurus! I have attached a photo of the keyboard
Sincerely,

Fenwick,
i look at your picture and still can't believe what i see
The keyboard of the 55 series consists not of separate
keycaps. It's just a thin rubber plate with rubber caps
on it.
For sure it's available as sparepart and we actually have
one on stock (used to sell them to people who wanted
to change from German to English keyboard).
Drop us a mail at Zaurus(at)trisoft.de and we'll look
what the price is and how to send it to you.

PS: And i would love to see a picture of the rubber plate
with the missing caps after you exchanged it. I have no
clue how to remove a separate cap without removing,
using a scalpel and remount everything

While we're on this topic, my sl-5500's hardware down arrow is starting to double, so that I wish the ROM did debouncing... I think that the switch is wearing out. I bought it used over a year ago, and have used it much myself. How would this be repaired?
Thanks.
