I ran the benchmark tests on my Sl-5500 running OZ 3.5.3 (Opie) just for the sake of curiousity, and got the following results, and compared them to the stored previous results also on a SL-5500:
1. Integer Arithmetic -> 309358 dhrys (240010 dhrys)
2. Floating Point Unit -> 4.79 secs (41.498 secs)
3. Text Rendering -> 399 chars/sec (88 chars/sec)
4. Gfx Rendering -> 2787.00 gops/sec (1786 gops/sec)
5. RAM Performance -> 28.10 MB/s : 23.39 MB/s (50.123 kb/sec)
6. SD Card Performance * -> 28.10 MB/s : 23.05 MB/s (41.7329 kb/sec)
7. CF Card Performance -> 27.90 MB/s : 988.75 kb/s (105.873 kb/sec)
* Not sure how this was measured without a SD card installed
If these numbers are anywhere close to accurate, my congradulations to the developers. Those are some fairly staggering numbers by comparison, I can only imagine what a 2.6 kernel would probably do to those numbers.

Here's mine running on an sl-5600 with OZ 3.5.3 and a custom compiled kernel:
1. Integer Arithmetic -> 555093 dhrys
2. Floating Point Unit -> 2.30 secs
3. Text Rendering -> 399 chars/sec
4. Gfx Rendering -> 3485.92 gops/sec
5. RAM Performance -> 45.16 MB/s; 6.35 MB/s
6. SD Card Performance -> 20.78 MB/s; 956.48 MB/s
7. CF Card Performance -> 28.41 MB/s; 35.35 MB/s

Text Rendering test can go up to 20000 chars/sec when repeated
