Title: Upgrading To 3.5.3 - Ssh And Package Questions
Post by: dansawyer on May 15, 2005, 09:11:17 pm
All,

I am finally getting around to upgrading to 3.5.3. The flash went well and on the second install of the SD card Restore found the PIM data. The SD card has packages from 3.5.2 on in. Will a mount of the sd card reload the packages?

On another topic attempts to ssh from a linux box to the zaurus fail on zaurus password. This worked flawlessly on 3.5.1 and 3.5.2. Did the password change? If so what is it? If not what cause this to fail? Could it be a configuration issue on the linux host? If it is that where is a good place to look.

The release looks great.

Dan

Thanks,

The Z is up and running. Will it still except the passwd command?

Yes, but obviously you'll have to do it locally.
