Title: Font Sizes - Which One Are Needed?

As you probably noticed I maintain some fonts in OpenEmbedded. Recently new version of DejaVu fonts was released so I worked with makeqpf on converting them to QPF format.

I don't use QPF ones on Zaurus because opie-freetype allow me to use TTF directly (howto is on my website).

Which fontsize you (users) need? Currently I generated 8-14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 sizes and can generate other. I cannot do smaller ones.

DejaVu 1.10 will appear in "upgrades" feed soon and if more people (not from ISO-8859-1 countries) find them useful then maybe in next OZ they will be default ones :)

Thanks for the TTF howto, now I don't need to answer your question  

Maybe in the future Opie should switch to TTF by default...

The font sizes are perfect for the VGA models. Recently size 16 was made the default for VGA in Opie which is IMO the perfect size. 12 is very hard to read, < 12 is unreadable.

Didn't check on 320x240 yet.

QVGA models got size 9/9 (normal/fixed)
VGA got 16/14
Simpad has 12/12

And all will use TTF Version of DejaVu fonts.
