Hay all,
I am very new here :-)
Googled long and wide and din't find an answer.
I figured to ask as I plan to add BT to the simpad according to the guide by beecon (http://beecon.de/projekte/SIMpadBT/)
Another small issue is:
I read at seattlewireless that the prism 3 is less sensetive then the previos prism 2.5:
SW link (http://www.seattlewireless.net/index.cgi/SenaoCard#head-4421ff6bd02a1b24c8c8ef132f80e6cc864954bb) look for "What's the difference between the Prism2 and the Prism3 chipsets"
I am looking to buy a SanDisk ConnectPlus of ebay. I read that some units had the prism 2.5 while other have the 3. how may I tell them apart?
thanks,
Niv

Niv,
if i don't have a real big blackout now, then you're talking
about WiFi.
Prism 2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0 are WiFi chipsets by Intersil.
For WiFi:
SanDisk Connect is Prism 2.5, working with nearly every
Rom and on desktop Linux.
SanDisk ConnectPlus is Prism 3.0 with included memory
and a real pain, not recommended.

I did read that the connect plus isn't easy-living , one still can't use the wifi and storage at the same time, but one can manage.
Any other sullotions to offer storage and wifi ?
- what say you about the SDIO? does OZ support it?
-
Niv,
sorry, can't help you with this because i don't have
a Simpad.
Just wanted to help with the information about the
Prism chipsets.
