here are the first few pics of the beta.  ill be done by today i think.

thanks man!

I spent 3 days solid on this.  Now its only gona take me 1 full day per icon set to convert over to the zaurus.  The reason for taking so long was figuring out a few things which wasnt to hard after thinking about it for so long.

Version 2 will have taskbar and tabs on top to match the theme and probably the default contact, calendar and todo will get tweaked.

but for now, ill be working on 9 other version 1 zaurus themes.  then after, ill do the version 2.

Reason im doing this is because i wanna et a c1000 and make it look like "sweet!"

if i get a test subject, i can port over sl5500 version to other versions as well.



and yes you need to install to main memory.  i have over 50 plus softwares running on my device including 2000 nintendo games, and ....too much to list but im only ocupying 10 mb of internal memory due to using explorer, some libs, terminal, the main stuff.  the sd carries all other stuff since i have 2gb worth of storage max capacity.



and yes internal install is a must!

ohh and yes i redesigned my website to fit on a small zaurus screen.  you can check it out.

the only thing i see people having problems is.....................unzipping files since i use tkczip.  others will need to use a command line program.


ohh this is important.  one last step.

1. backup your z
2. uninstall previous themes made by myself.
3. install the new theme.
4. restart qtopia under settings, shutdown, restart qtopia.
5. go into settings and appearance and click on the them "SLStyle for default" and "umicons for umicons" theme.

all done

if you did not figure this out before, dont worry.  the task bar and the window decoration is not enabled by default so it needs to be don in appearance.

version 1.1 is going to be added in a a few minutes to reflect this problem.  I dont know why the bootup didnt change the theme from the "get go".  it doesnt change much.  i just removed  a file that isnt necessery and updated the instal info.



as of 6 pm, its updated to 1.1.  install directions have been changed as well.
