Title: Problem Flashin And Wireless App In Opie

hi i am sorry to post ignorant questions here, but it s driving me crazy i can;t get teh zaurus even boot up. i tried to flash the zaurus, with power plug in and all the file in the appropriate directory and it looks like it s working fine since the light remain on for like 10 min. i used a hitachi micro drive card to flash the rom. but once i boot up, i am stuck in the sharp screen and wonldnt go anywhere, anyone can get me a clue on this??

i am just goin to used the zaurus as my wireless tools, for exmple, running kimet  on it. any one using the SMC CF wireless card ??? is it working fine ??

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME, i would even be wiling to pay someone if they can fix this up for me~

any advice will helps and will be greatly appreciate

This means the kernel hasn't flashed at least.

First of all which machine are you talking about?

Secondly, I'm not sure that micro-drives are supported, try a plain CF card.

Thridly, are you sure the files are named correctly and the md5sums are correct?

ok i got it fixed! microdrive is supported, the exact problem is that when i download the zImage file it automatically rename it to .bin file and caused these problems.

Anyway, thanks a lot.

am installing all these software in there, what software is good in opie?? i am in the process of finding a nice browser and a VNC server and viewer.

got any suggestion ?
