Title: How Do I Reboot C3000 To Console?

something messed up on the harddrive and I had to power it off.. when I turn it back on, the kernel boots, mentions the drive should be fscked.. and everything is fine until it gets to the qtopia boot screen.. and then it hangs..

is there some clever way to make it boot just to console mode without trying to load qtopia?

get the manual from our SL-C3000 downloadpage  (http://www.trisoft.de/en_c3000howto.htm).
Read the section "Boot to command line"

the way i boot into a rescue console is as follows:
1. unplug the ac adapter and remove the battery
2. hold down the 'D' and 'B' buttons
3. while still holding down 'D' and 'B' insert the battery.

once you power on the the machine " i use it on both a c3000 and c860" it will boot to a rescue shell.
