Hi all
I played around with the X11 Rom for 3 days now on my C700.
First I\'d like to give my thanks to the cacko-team for their
excellent work !
1a) is there any documentation beside the short installation guide ?
1b)how the hell am i supposed to type a \":\" \"=\" etc since the fn key
seems to be dead (or remapped) ?
1c) konqueror is EXTREMLY slow. it takes about 3 MINUTES to start and
show google.com ! I tried to display this page here but almost runout of battery
anybody else experiencing this ?
2a)tab-key seems to toggle its function between tab and capslock
2b)the entries generated by the lan-applet are completly useless, it
took me almost 2 days to figure out how to get my wlan up. I only
got it working after i copied the section from the original sharp rom
wlan-ng.opts.....
ZUG-TEAM: would it be possible to setup a wikipage so that user
could post their tips n\' tricks there ?
that\'s all for the moment....

I can\'t help you with most of your questions... but there is a wiki page in the ZUG How-tos section for the X11 ROM (http://www.zaurususergroup.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpWiki&file=index&pagename=X11%20ROM). You can also browse to this page at the bottom of the wiki main page.

oops.. thanks for pointing me to the wiki page....
from your signature i see you are using the X11 rom as well....
doesn\'t toggle the tab key it\'s function after once used in bash for tab-completion ?
how do you access the \"purple\" keys \":, =\" ?

I have the X11 ROM and the tab key works fine, it doesn\'t toggle as you describe. I also access the purple keys using the Fn key without problem. Maybe something went wrong while installing the ROM? I\'m using a C760 if that makes a difference.

doublec,
thx for your response.... the c700 might realy make a difference since i had to
use a kernel from an old x11-rom (see also http://www.zaurususergroup.com/index.php?n...iewtopic&t=858) (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=858))
edit:
i finaly figured out what the problem was with the keybord.
somehow my .xsession was not pointing to the /etx/x11/xinit/xinitrc
so the corgi.xmoadmap was not loaded...
