Hi
I am a novice so please forgive errors.
I am looking for a PDA that runs Linux and found the Sony Zaurus which however is not sold in US stores or supported in the US. Apparently the HP iPAQ also runs Open Zaurus. Can someone tell me the differences between Linux run on the Zaurus vs run on the HP iPaq? Is one preferable to the other?
Thanks.

uhm....
1) let me be the first to say this .... sony zaurus? or better sharp zaurus? I'd really like it better if sony were the zaurus owner.
2) even zaurus in not sold/supported by sharp, other might do it (dynamism sells and supports sharp zaurus in the US)
3) zaurus is 100% linux oriented, so all hardware included works as expected; regarding OZ (openzaurus) I think it is more complete/works better on zaurus that on an ipaq

There ist no Openzaurus for ipaq. But there ist familiar. It more or less the same like Openzaurus, since the use the same openembedded metadata and are going to merge.
See http://familiar.handhelds.org/ (http://familiar.handhelds.org/) for more info.

No idea why this was posted in the ELSI forum. Moving it to the OZ/Common forum.
