Title: I Think I Bricked My Sl4 Successfully!
Post by: Snappy on June 25, 2005, 10:29:00 pm
Hi all,

I think I bricked my SL4 while trying out this
http://opensimpad.org/opensimpad-forum/vie...95a0044e1101986 (http://opensimpad.org/opensimpad-forum/viewtopic.php?t=835&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30&sid=2826f7f1947606b2395a0044e1101986)

got the opieXXL image and bootloader to try a CF install.

Now I got a faint penguin on top left corner. HyperTerminal shows to prompt but hang.

What now?

What do you mean under "briked"? If you see tux logo, then your kernel is booting... So apparently bootloader is live and doing well. I would guess that your serial port settings are wrong. Try 115200-8N1, XON/XOFF flow control.
