Post by: niv on June 26, 2005, 07:08:55 pm
According to this (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=12076&st=45#) I need GPE to do X.
I am using the OPIE (which is nicer)
So I wouldn't be able to X to my machine on campus and work remotly?
so bad, I have a 200Mhz/60 Mb machine. remotly I got a 2000Mhz / 512Mb machine.

You can do X with opie, you just need to install Xqt and X runs in a Qtopia app.
Although, I dont think the OZ distribution is compatible with the binary Xqt stuff...

There is vnc client for opie/qtopia - keypebble

Of course that doesn't matter at all, since the OZ philosophy is to 'do it from source' - which means it's already in our feeds

If they have any apps which we don't, and which people want, they should just be added to OE.
