So are the keyboards for the Japanese versions of the CXX0s. That is because there aren\'t anywhere enough keys to represent all the characters in Japanese let alone Chinese.
Nearly all Japanese computer users enter Japanese by typing the pronunciation of the Japanese word using English keys. the same goes for the Chinese input methods I know of.

Yes, but in the Jap version you still have Jap Chars, in the Chin ver you ONLY have english Chars, no Chin chars at all.

Did you guys notice that the manual in the pic of link #1 actually says \"SL-7500C\"? Furthermore i thought the black keyboard was just a SL-C700 thing, not the SL-C75(6)0. and the area around the screen is silver on the SL-7500C while the SL-C750 is black and 760 is silver.
Hardware wise this SL-7500C looks like a SL-700C based on the colors.
Does anyone know if it\'s really a 700 with a different name (because of regions)?
-
Just checked the price in China. It is around 7400 Chinese Yuan, aka 900 US dollars!!
It has 64MB RAM, so at least it is a SL-C760.
-
so even the chinese market gets the goodies while the US market just rits with the 5xxx series and news of \"impending release of Sl-6000\". How so sucky....

The key with Japanese characters on them on the Japanese version are only to do with the Japanese Input method - changing between hiragana, katakana, and ascii, changing between half and full width characters and selecting kanji candidates from list, as Chinese on has one set of characters (kanji) they don\'t need the other buttons
-
China gets that and nothing for the US? Man that sucks!

I\'m just interested on the Chinese Handwriting Method......... also Tranditional Chinese Support

Yes, I think that is very important for Chinese market. If also built-in CHI/ENG dictionary will be better like Japanese version.
I\'m waiting for the price drop.

It\'s not acceptable for one guy in China to buy such a PDA.Too expensive, the price is for a laptop not a PDA!!
-
Looks like it has a phone app?

yes, from the article, it seems that the 7000RMB includes SL7500C with a PANDA GSM/GPRS cf card.
Hmm, it\'s OK but too expensive for me.
:-(
Any way, any has SL7500C or SL5600C? Would you like to share your qpf font files? Thanks.

I\'m sure the Chinese CEC have their eyes on the American market, I\'ve just come back from Beijing and I could not get over how expensive electronics were there, more expensive than the US for Memory cards, Digital cameras etc etc.
I would look to Sharp to blame for the high prices, the recent drops in price for the 5600 are clear indication that inventory is being offloaded in advance of a new product range push. The shift to a Chinese manufacturer producing a PDA with English all over it is good indication that Sharp has a mature and well developed product on their hands and is about to take on the US & UK markets with a bit more conviction. However prices will be overly expensive to milk new adopters and avoid pissing off retailers holding old stock.
I\'ll be getting one in about a year (o;

I was asked where to buy one on http://externe.net/zaurus/forum/viewtopic....php?p=5542#5542 (http://externe.net/zaurus/forum/viewtopic.php?p=5542#5542)
I fail to understand why anyone would want one.
There\'s a mirror of the pics on http://externe.net/zaurus/mirror/7500c/ (http://externe.net/zaurus/mirror/7500c/)
