Speculatrix,

please cut the holding clamps with a knife before using
the cable in an SL-C model.

The EBay picture shows that it's one of the very first
SerialIO cables, produced for the SL-5500 series.
The actual SerialIO cables don't have these and can
be used with every Zaurus.

you misunderstand, I already bought one. this is a new one I saw turn up, nothing to do with me.

but the one I bought had the clips cut off anyway as it belonged to an 860 user and it didn't work with his 1000.
