got a few you do not have permissions when its creating a symlink? Whats the solution?

version 0.18 big package

are you sure you have respected the permissions when untar the big tarball on your card/disk? (option -p)

ah also if you untar the debian on your /hde3, this can'work, because the /hde3 is formatted in FAT and not EXT2
if you have reformatted the /hde3 it is also the option -p
if you haven't formatted your /hde3 don't do it without read all informations about that, without control, the Z will not boot anymore

ive created a 1gb loopback file system(Meanies site) then tried the install got most to install except the problem above and corrupted file header(redownloaded the install, and tried again, sames result)

getting bad tar header, 3rd time downloading v0.18. Also tell me more about the -p switch? I know someone got 0.18 working....what uncompress utility should I use? maybe its a problem with the built in one?

actually got it to install, well at least untar....
now off to learn vi, so I can get the rest of the debian install complete, but you have an image of a good install on hdd3... Perhaps send a nice e-mail? with an attachment?
