I bough one last week and it just arrived.
It shows up when plugged into my Zaurus as a iPaq Bluetooth Sleeve?
Dunno if it'll work or not , this is the only bluetooth item I own .
-
It's down to $14.50 now. I wish I knew if it would work or not though...

I'd like to hear more about this card as it is very cheap. I checked the
local store and there's a CF BT card for 175€ ;)
Do you get hci0 up? What kernel messages you get when you insert
the card?
There's a link to doc about it below. In hciattach command you may
need to replace bcsp with something else.

Btw i tried this with a Socket bt card but ditn't get rfcomm0
up for some reason.

shame it'd cost $24 for postage to the UK.

This review (http://tuxtops.com/?q=node/246) of the SL-5500 mentions that this card didn't work with Bluez, but that this card (http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=F8T006&cat=PDA) (for $24.50) apparently does work. There isn't any more information that I could find, though.

From what I remember there are two versions of the Belkin CF bluetooth adaptor, they look very similar, so if you only see a thumbnail image on the website you can't tell which is which. It's the newer version that needs the latest drivers, if it works at all.

This review (http://tuxtops.com/?q=node/246)
has been poorly researched. So I question the validity of any claim made in that article.
-
That may be true. The main issue I was pointing out was that he had actually tried the card that this thread is about, and it didn't work.
-
The one I purchased showed up.
OZ Sees it aas a ipaq bluetooth sleeve when inserted.
I did a scan at a location with a Bluetooth enabled G5 (This is the first bluetooth item I own) and it found the G5.
I'd put that down as partially working.
