Scratchbox (http://www.scratchbox.org/) is for example used to develop programs for the new Nokia N770 device. In my opinion, scrachtbox makes it really easy to cross compile applications. Much easier than usually for Zaurus development.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a Scratchbox development environment for the Zaurus too? Is there anything planned in this direction?

Integrating scratchbox into OpenEmbedded would be useful for autotools applications. We could run the ./configure scripts inside scratchbox. I'd really like to see someone doing that.

This is probably the wrong place to ask, but what's the current status of scratchbox with regard to building OE based projects such as OpenZaurus/Angstrom?
I see this: http://scratchbox.org/wiki/OpenEmbedded (http://scratchbox.org/wiki/OpenEmbedded)
and this: http://www.mail-archive.com/scratchbox-use...g/msg00277.html (http://www.mail-archive.com/scratchbox-users@lists.scratchbox.org/msg00277.html)
Does this imply that it might work? I thought I'd heard (from RP) that a necessary kernel module was missing (binfmt_misc perhaps?) and that scratchbox wouldn't work (yet)?
Thanks,
Si

Ångström already has support for development with scratchbox:
