Do you have the X server running?
You should perhaps change your ~/.xinitrc
The easiest way is probably to install zumi's pdaxrom-fvwm package from
the unstable feed, then remove the link from .xinit to mbession by
Code: [Select]
rm -f .xinitrc (make sure that it is still the link, of course ;-))
and link to the fvwm-specific:
ln -s .xinitrc.fvwm .xinitrc
startx should start X with fvwm.

New fvwm-pdaxrom package is coming in 1-2 days. (I know that I said 1-2 day 2 days ago. )
I don't add new things now, I make everything that's already in work smoothly. Simple install, clean remove, a little documentation for the users makes everybody happy.

Hi,

I suggest you read pdaXrom fvwm (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=8280&hl=).

I was able to solve all problems following that thread.

Great news Zumi !! Having the screen rotation & silk screen buttons will complete fvwm for the Z.

Let me know if you need any testers. I'm just sitting around rehabing after a torn ACL repair. Lot of time to play with my Z.

Cheers,
Jerry

Sure, we will need a lot of testing! The project name was changed to fvwm-pdaxrom because it will be near to "fvwm" package in the package manager, so it will be easier to find.

The 0.3.0 version will come soon and 0.3.x versions will be bugfix releases. Still a lot of work on the way to 1.0.
Silkscreen setup was lost when my C700 got bricked. I will rewrite it, but it won't be in this version.
