Hi,
Hrw talk about the upgrade with the checkversion script, what is it ? And where can I find it ?
Maybe the upgrade works well only when using this script, who know ?

And how to use it to do an upgrade ? Is it documented ? (My Z is at home, sorry).

Upgrade what? The kernel?
You need to perform the same procedure as if you were going to flash a new ROM, but only put the zImage(.bin) and updater.sh (if you're using anything other than a 5500) on the CF/SD card. This will just update the kernel, leaving the root filesystem alone. Make sure your kernel version matches the current one, or you've already installed the new kernel modules.

Thanks for your fast reply !
My question was to know if I did not understand something regarding the upgrade to the new kernel r21, because it does not work (discussion [a href=\"https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=13576)]https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=13576)[/url].

For the 5500, put zImage on the CF card and follow the normal instructions.
