Title: Alternative Console App?

Hello,

I have the Qkonsole that comes with Cacko 1.23 beta1 ROM for SL-C3000. However, I have some character decoding / mapping problems with that console in combination with mutt.

Is there any alternative console I can try?

Look at [a href=\"http://www.elsix.org/index.php?w=project&p=250]ELSI[/url] there is a ZKonsole. Maybe this works for you.

hm - wanted to try, but unfortunately I cannot download it: I get a tcp error when trying to connect to [a href=\"http://ia2.de/zconsole/zconsole_1.0_arm.ipk]http://ia2.de/zconsole/zconsole_1.0_arm.ipk[/url]
Is this just me? Could anyone please send me the file in PM?

ADDITION:
just found it in a feed.
But it seems to be a serial terminal, for a serial connection to another Unix machine. So in order to use it locally I had to loop back /dev/ttyS0 somehow. Is this possible?

I use Konsole from the zaurus feed.
 I like it.
