Hi Guys
what is the best way to synch a 3000 with a PC running XP (is there any step by step around?) and a PC running Linux ?
Please tell me how you proceed ?

I have not tried it myself, but the easiest way would probably be to use the KDE-Pim/Pi applications. The same version of the program can be installed on your zaurus, windows pc, and linux pc. From here you can set it up so the versions of KDE-Pim/Pi running on the Desktop (Windows or Linux, it doesn't matter) will sync with the version on the zaurus. I hope this helps.
