anyone got this to work? Tried Meanies intructions, no luck. But good news it is giving me the low level message so something is working. I am using the dlink dcf-660w card.

I'm running Wellenreiter in my zaurus with no problems whatsoever.

what are your network settings for it?

802.11b (eth0) 192.168.1.103
I'm using DHCP. so my wireless router releases the IP.

 On Wireless Configuration I have:
 General Tab:
 Mode: managed
 SSID: my router's connection name
 MAC: my zaurus mac address

 Encryption Tab:
Key1: I have the key generated by my router.
 Non ecrypted packets: Accept

 TCP/IP Tab:
 DHCP enabled

Anyway, I don't think these settings matter, becasue when you use Wellenreiter, it asks you to disable DHCP(if you have running). So you don't actually use any of those settings from your Network Settings Tab.
And once you close Wellenreiter, it says "your wireless card should be usable again".
