If you're thinking about what I'm thinking about, it's difficult to miss if you haven't got a direct link to the forums.

I always go to the zaurususergroup.org site first, to see if there has been any news even when I just want to go the forums.

Same here.  It's amazing how frequently CMS sites get hacked.

that's why we should avoid using CMS without any our modification

When you use phpnuke it's really just a matter of time before you get broken into.
Hopefully it's be the last straw towards using a better CMS

Because they have nothing better to do?

I could think of a few other reasons why, but in the interest of keeping it clean, I'll resist the temptation...

Any decent CMS is better than nuke. It's got the worst track record of the bunch.
Take a look at bugtrack next time you see a CMS that looks like it could do what you want.

Haha, yeah, let's just reinvent the wheel each and every time we need one.
Some webdesign groups do that, and there's a good reason: they're paid by the hour.

Don't use a CMS.

hack up your own PHP news script, its not tough, and post news that way.  Also, check all your security settings.

the PHP news script is step3 of building a new website

it will takes a lot time creating a web site without CMS
but then you can take the full control of it

you can argue it's more secure too

but i don't think PHP is a secure lang

use JSP/Servlet

The issue is simply keeping up with updates.  That's all it was and is.  It's no biggie, really.  It's not like anything was lost.

Ouch.

I don't know if that was a low blow or not, so I'll just hope it wasn't.
