I want to replace the Q start button with a Penguin logo. Is it possible without recompiling qtopia? If so, how can it be done?
-
Isn't the Q button just a png like the rest of the icons?
I have a vague recollection that the old tkc rom used to change the Q button and they didn't recompile qtopia, but I might be imagining things

nice! which image do I need to replace? I tried qtlogo.png and it didn't do it for me even after a reboot. I'll try oslinux.

Could you post some of those great little png files at zaurusthemes? I want to replace that ugly Qtopia png also and use some of those other nifty icons you have in that theme on my Open Zaurus 5500.
Thanks!

Cresho,
I installed your oslinux on my Sharp ROM collie and the QT start button was not replaced with the tux logo.
How do I change it?
Have looked for "go.png" everywhere on my device and can't find it.
BTW, I figured out how to extract the icons from your oslinux zip file so I have all those great icons now.
Thanks for all your hard work.

I have the same problem as tombraider, although I do have a go.png on my system. It's in /home/QtPalmtop/pics/xtra/go.png and is a gold star, obviously not used for the start button as that is a Qt icon. (This is with the oslinux theme for the 5500 installed. Nice theme btw, thanks Cresho.)
