I just upgraded my SL500 to ver 3.5.3 and now whenever I try to install a package to the SD card I get an error.
Example:
Linking packages installed in: sd
Error linkling
'/media/card/packages/usr/bin/BitchX' to '/usr/bin/BitchX'
This doesn't happen if I install to root, only to the sd card. I haven't tried installing anything to cf because I have a wirless card there now.
Can someone tell me what I need to do to resolve this. Thanks

What fs does your sd card use?

Format your SD-card with ext2 so it will support symlinks.
Here are instructions if you need them:
