Hi folks--
Is it possible to sync with Palm Desktop (on a Win2k laptop) using the tkcROM? I\'ve done lots of searching and Googling and haven\'t found a definitive answer. I\'m using the XML-based tkc PIM apps.
I have a 5500 running tkcROM2alpha3, and the USB networking is working fine. I can ping every which way and ssh into the Z from the PC, no problem. Is there a version of Intellisync I can run on the PC that\'ll let me sync?
Thanks for any help!
Gregg

With the Sharp 3.13 ROM I can sync with Palm Desktop on my Win2k box. It\'s the ideal solution for me from a PIM standpoint, but it\'s not my preference. I\'d been using the TKC PIM apps for a long time, but the need to sync with Palm Desktop wouldn\'t go away. So although I\'d prefer to use the tkcROM and TKC apps, practicality has won out. Seems like a sad familiar story for the Zaurus....

Same here. The only reason I haven\'t switched to another ROM is the need to synch up my information. Well that and the fact that theKompany.rom, OpenZaurus etc haven\'t made ROMs for the 5600

Odd, I hadn\'t heard of that. I wonder if it would work on a Mac with iSync/Palm Desktop. Of course, PalmSource has announced that they will no longer provide Mac sync software for the next OS version.
