Title: Gnumeric(v1.5) Can't Open Xls (excel 2003)?

gnumeric(v1.5) can't open xls (excel 2003) accurately.
numers in table(worksheet)  is not same with xls!
but chars is ok.
why?

At a guess...

The version of Gnumeric is old, predating more recent features, and as a result can't open all the latest file types accurately. Same as Excel 95 probably wouldn't open Excel 2003 formats accurately.

The only solution is to save the Excel down to an older format and try again.

Or see if you can get a better spreadsheet package for pdaXrom

how do the gnumeric v1.2.3 open xls(2003)?
when excel save some files in excel95-format.gnumeric(1.5) read it ,number is error still.

Haven't a clue I'm afraid. I've never used it on pdaXrom. The only spreadsheet I want to see working on pdaXrom is OpenOffice's Calc. However that's proving troublesome
