Title: New Socket Sd Wifi Card
Post by: Kirin on August 09, 2005, 08:54:43 pm
There is a new SD Wifi Card from Socket
http://www.socketcom.com/product/WL6207-600.asp (http://www.socketcom.com/product/WL6207-600.asp)

and seems like it has a driver for MontaVista Linux too

Do you guys think there will be chances that this card will work on the Zaurus?

As far as I know there is no way that this will work on any Zaurus model because they do not support SDIO.  Sorry to rain on your parade

Decius have you seen [a href=\"https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=510]this thread[/url]?

Not sure it's going to help if you have a 5600 but interesting none the less.

To summarise, the 860 (and presumably the other clam-shells) do have the SDIO hardware but the cards need to have drivers.
