Post by: Assimil on August 12, 2005, 11:28:46 am
Hi everybody. I'am new on this forum, and on the Zaurus world. I just buy a Zaurus SL-C 3100, and i have some problem with.

Fot bigin, I want beg your pardon for my poor english... I'm french, and i learn english by myself, so i'm not very strong. Thank you for read and try to help me.

I try to install the OpenBSD 3.7 on my 3100 with this document (http://ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/3.7/zaurus/INSTALL.zaurus). but after installing the OpenBSD's IPK, when i reboot for installing OpenBSD, i have this in the pronpt :

Code: [Select]
probing: ux0
>> OpenBSD/zaurus BOOT 2.06
open(/dev/hda4:/etc/boot.conf): Invalid argument
boot>

So i try some little things, but :

Code: [Select]
boot> boot
booting /dev/hda4:/bsd: open /dev/hda4:/bsd: Invalid argument
 falied(22). will try /obsd
boot> boot
booting /dev/hda4:/obsd: open /dev/hda4:/obsd: Invalid argument
 falied(22). will try /bsd.old
boot> boot
booting /dev/hda4:/bsd.old: open /dev/hda4:/bsd.old: Invalid argument
 falied(22). will try /bsd

What can i do fore proceed with the installation ?

Thanks
